Fascinating subject this is:-)

I would be interested to learn which name the MLA (Militaire Luchtvaart Autoriteit / Military Airworthiness Authority) has used to certify the aircraft & operation. In my view, that would be the only 'official' name.. But, of course, any operator can use whichever name they deem fit.

In this Parliamentary Paper, an official letter from the Minister of Defense from 2016, the A330MRTT is also mentioned.

And in MLA's 2021 annual report, the designation KC-30 0x appears, but A330 appears several times:

But hey, just call it KC-30 if you want to identify yourself as Aussie. It’s 2022, everything is possible. #woke

Officieel bestaat de KC-30M helemaal niet.
Welke officiële documenten bedoel je dan eigenlijk. Ik kan eigenlijk helemaal niks officieels vinden (van de Klu)

KC-30M or A330MRTT or Tankvliegtuig, just call it whatever you want. I stick with KC-30M
