looks like these are the last flying Transalls in the world, or has anybody seen a Turkish Transall flying recently ?

2019 was the last time I've seen a Turkish Tran flying. It was at Konya and during the Anatolian Eagle exercise. That was one of the special ECM variants

Which makes me wonder about the 2 Gabriel's the French still have. Will they be retiring at the same time or will they soldier on for the moment?

now these days a lot can be changed because of the war in Ukraine, at first the retirement was planned together with the other Transalls , time will tell

And as expected Transall Gabriel F216 still operating as of 5-4-22.

F216 was flown from Romania to Evreux 31-5-22 and has not flown since

Last month the "regular" Transalls were indeed retired.

Only the C-160G Gabriels are still more or less flying...

Le C-160G encore en service
En janvier 2022, la France opérait encore deux C-160G Gabriel de guerre électronique.
Au moins l'un de ces deux avions est encore en service car l'appareil numéroté F216
était visible ce 22 mai sur les différents sites internet de tracking au-dessus de la mer Noire.

Le C-160G compte ses dernières heures de vol puisqu'il doit aussi prendre sa retraite cette année.
