Most likely 08-0050 or 08-0047 that flew EGUN-ENBR-ENBO on the 4th of October as KIMBO81/82.

Indeed. The press release by the Norwegian Armed Forces that Gijs linked to starts with "The Osprey belongs to the U.S. Marine Corps".

God knows how I messed up those dates because they were actually in March

But indeed being a USMC rules them out.

Anyway, according to Norwegian info the crash site was reached at 01.30 this morning; all 4 occupants perished, unfortunately...
