The MD530G have been delivered to the TDDM at SZB to the article in the Star Newspaper.
https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/ ... nnaissance
The serials were M83-01T to M83-06T instead of the M82- range. The reason for the T at the end is not known to me.
On 3/3/22 the first batch did a test flight at SZB and the ex US civil regs could be seen on FR24 and in order of test flight on the
day the following were seen/noted:
M83-01 ex N6069T c/n 0276FF
M83-06 ex N6074T c/n 0274FF
M83-03 ex N6071U c/n 0271FF
On 4/3/22 the other 3 did there test flight;
M83-05T ex N6073Y c/n 0273FF
M83-02T ex N6068S c/n 0268FF
M83-04T ex N6072F c/n 0272FF
The serials are in order with the c/n.

Re: TDDM MD530G serials
Small correction the c/n for the M83-01 should be 0267FF.

Re: TDDM MD530G serials
It would be interesting to know why they chnaged the prefix. Photos in the USA showed them marked M82-__
Re: TDDM MD530G serials
Having just seem my 2nd Malaysian mil last week I am obv an expert on these things, but from local experience of US delivery serials, the c/n of N6069T could well be 0269FF. On the other hand if the c/n is indeed 0267FF maybe it was N6067T. Or not.

See https://www.scramble.nl/military-news/s ... y-malaysia for the c/n tie-up with the US registrations.
Is there already an explanation why the helicopters have been re-registered (or re-serialled)?
