Wunstorf (ETNW) 2022
Active A400M of LTG 62 on 06.01. were:
54+07 (one refueling mission in the morning), 54+12 (from Niger), 54+22 (from Al Azraq), 54+31 (three traning missions) and 54+36 (three traning missions).
Seen on the ramp were 54+09 (still propless but with engines), 54+14, 54+33 (engine test) plus eight more unidentified.
Four A400M will deploy to Darwin/Australia from September 5th to 23rd together with six Eurofighters (with TLwG 74 as the leading unit) and three MMU A.330 for exercise "Pitch Black". It will be the first time that German fighter aircraft visit "down under".

Making its first visit of type on the base and landing on 20.01. at 10.05h was A.330-243 MRTT T-058 of KLu/MMU.
More visits should follow in the next weeks as more PAX flights will be taken over from Cologne.

The first landing of a Belgian Air Component A400M happened on 21.01., with CT-03 of 15.Wing, 20.Smd. landed around 11.40h.

ADS-B shows A400 0008 departing from here on 24.1 as CTM2098.

ET 01.061 A400M 0008/F-RBAB visited as planned, departed to Mali and will return at the end of the week via Cologne.

Active on 27.01. with LTG 62 are the following A400M:

Planned for a visit on 2.2. around lunch is HAF C-130H 752 of 356.MTM.

A.330-243MRTT T-057 of KLu/MMU landed on 3.2. at 8.43h local. It flew to and from the Baltics and returned.

On 4.2. A.330-243 MRTT T-056 of MMU visited twice.

No nitpicking intended, but KC-30 is a designation used by the RAAF only. The NATO refers to these aircraft as A330 MRTT. This designation can be found amongst others on the official websites of the RNethAF, Luftwaffe, and the European Air Transport Command.
