Mig cockpit at Maasbracht

Post by MW104 »

Made a quick stop at Maasbracht this morning and saw a Mig cockpit next to the Mig-21 2005, AT-16 B-178 & F-50 cockpit. Any ID known?

It came from Poland and is most likely a former Polish AF Lim-5, that's all that is known so far unfortunately.
And since it is on top of a shipping container, it can't be checked out thoroughly....

Hi all, it has been some time since this MiG-15 cockpit showed up here. Thanks to a message on Facebook, I learned it has finally "come down" and is now at ground level. The person who spotted it there, Ronald van der Valk, checked it for an id. The only thing he could find was a plate on the bulkhead behind the ejection seat rail. This plate has 215 13 on it, which doesn't look like a MiG-15 or Lim c/n to me. But does this mean something to somebody..??
He did identify the Jetstream (not Fokker 50) cockpit by the way, this is former OO-IBJ.
Cheers,

Nu een aantal items is verkocht, wat resteert ons op locatie 1 ('de winkel") (niks meer?) en wat op locatie 2 (bij de grote loods langs de snelweg) ?
