Re: Hohn (ETNH) 2019
Noted here on 14.06. were the following C-160D of LTG 63:
on the ramp: 50+38, 50+49, 50+77, 50+79, 50+83
Seen during landing was 50+40 while 50+57 arrived for the "Tag der Bundeswehr" at Jagel. Also current with the wing should be another five:
50+36 (based in Niamey/Niger), 50+51, 50+59, 50+66 (Niger) and 50+72. That dozen should be the full wing complement at the moment plus 50+76 and 50+88 in Manching (PE). The wing will loose another four in 2019.
The MH-60S was not seen in the afternoon.

Re: Hohn (ETNH) 2019
The BMVg reported today that Hohn will remain as a base and will not close after the demise of LTG 63.
The important base is located between North Sea and Baltic Sea and will at least operate Airbus Services (for example GFD), could operate as a base for UAV maintenance and as an alternate for the TLwG 51 at Jagel, also for WIP as happened in the past.
If as the BMVg speaker told today Hohn could even house a new GAF wing will be shown in the future.
