KeeBee show ticketing
Morning all!
Has anyone been able to order and pay for tickets so far today? The ticketing site crashed at 0902 and finally allowed orders from 0947, but my payment has been processing for 15 minutes now. Is it just me or is everyone feeling the same pain?

2sqn & 3sqn RAF - 100years
On Saturday morning I was invited to attend a small photoshoot at RAF Marham to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of II(AC) sqn RAF. There were only 50 photographers invited to the short photocall before the squadron's families' day event began at midday. On the way home from Marham, w...

Cheers Kev, there's always room on the platform for 2 mate, it helps to get above the barbed wire & hedge Pity I didn't remember my gloves or a warmer jacket though!

RAF Waddington (EGXW) 12/Dec/11 Saudi C-130 and new Shadow
Just a couple of shots from a freezing cold and very windy RAF Waddington this morning, Saudi C-130 475 arrived eastbound as RSF911, and ZZ504, the RAF's newest Shadow made its first flight from Waddington in 14sqn service after being delivered to the squadron yesterday afternoon. http://www.igniter...

Re: RAF Waddington - EGXW - rotary action 24/8/11
Are these taken from outside the fence? By the way, why did they have to make those Apache serials so bloody small.... Hi Bas, yes, these were all shot through the fence from the side of bays 20 & 21 (old delta dispersal). The Apache serials are really tiny, you definitely need optics to read t...

RAF Waddington - EGXW - rotary action 24/8/11
I heard some helos were due to arrive for refuel late afternoon, so went across with my camera for a look. 5 Longbow Apaches and 2 Merlins arrived. The Merlins departed after refuel, the Apaches stayed around until later in the evening. The weather was good, but the light went after a while due to a...

Re: Arabian nights
nice!!! but you gotta get rid of that lightpole mate! it spoils everything. or it could not be taken from another angle? Greetz, Ron Ron, where it was parked it's quite difficult to get another angle on it without the light stand in the way from a tripod as the chain-link fence intrudes into the sh...

XV249 - the final flight
Today saw the final flight of Nimrod R1 XV249. Sadly neither the light nor the flight plan were as kind to us as yesterday.
