All quiet for a couple of days due to weather on the ice. However Oct 23 saw two more C-17s arrive in Christchurch, 08-8198 and 08-8200 both arrived from HIK. Another sign that the 2022/2023 Antarctic season is about to commence, is the arrival in Christchurch today (20th) of N90, the Challenger 605 operated by the FAA flight safety unit. Routing was HIK - PPG - CHC.
Two more LC-130s are also on their way to us.
