Re: Donauwoerth Heliport (EDPR) CIV/MIL 2024

Basically correct, 82 were initially ordered. But 79+43/47 were later added. I am not sure if they were replacements for existing aircraft which were returned and not accepted or other reasons. There might be other experts who know better? But in fact there were 87 different airframes in use by the...

Re: Donauwoerth Heliport (EDPR) CIV/MIL 2024

LOG Donauwoerth 14/11/2024 79+47 NH.90TTH Heer. The very last German Army TTH is nearing completion. Towed into the military hangar. Question: if I am correct, Germany ordered 82 NH90-TTH for the Heeresflieger. Serials however apparently run from 78+01/40 and 79+01/47, totalling 87. It seems I miss...

Re: L-159E’s to NL

That's a bit odd: on the very day this Letter of Intent was signed with Draken, the RNlAF awarded a contract to the AEC Skyline-Top Aces per 1 January 2025 for what it looks similar requirements.

Noticing a Laage log from 14-11, the TaktLwG 73 delegation could be 30+49/30+64/31+12. Local confirmation required though.

Re: Nordholz (ETMN) 2024

No, four are already at Portland for the Ukraine, two more at Nordholz, which will also go to the UK. One now at Gatow, two special painted becoming a gate guard and for exhibition Aeronauticum. Thank you for the update Herby. It seems then I overlooked one, as I have only 89+56, 61 and 64 being de...

That's interesting. Will Ukraine now receive one of the specially painted ones instead, since they were promised to get six Sea King Mk 41s?

Re: EHVK 29-04-2024

Came in hot and high (generally in line with a high key approach) but to bleed off some extra energy, the pilot flew some extra high-banking turns on final which looked both effective and spectacular. (not sure if the term SJA is common in the air force - we sometimes use it when ending up a bit hig...

You're correct, rephrased my earlier post. I wouldn't be surprised that these aircraft will end up somewhere else indeed, time will tell.

Will they continue to Belgium tomorrow? It seems they are expected to arrive at Charleroi on 15 December. An official report does not state that these are handed over to another country, only that the handover to Draken has been delayed. https://www.rijksoverheid.nl/documenten/kamerstukken/2022/12/...
