Re: Lajes (LPLA/TER) 2023 MIL
I could be wrong but looking at the waypoints I'd say the routing is in northeastern direction so outbound? 4000N02300W is 200 NM northeast of Lajes and the last point NILAV is at 4500N01325W 530 NM to the northeast of Lajes.

Gistermiddag is de KDC-10 eerder teruggekeerd omdat er wat aan mankeerde. Kans is groot dat ie daarom vanochtend niet gevlogen heeft.

As far as i know J-142 (sold to Portugal as spareparts) and J-866 are no longer flying Thx Roberto, could you share some more info on the J-142? My last input is March 2017 when it was flying from Leeuwarden. J-882 F-16BM 313sq Tiger tail J-882 has a grey tail without any badges. So no tiger tail a...

Thanks for heads-up, full list below: Serial Code Type Unit Badge Status J-879 F-16AM 322sq 75yr 322sq tail Active J-881 F-16AM 323sq grey badge Active And, as said in my post above, 879 not with special tail anymore but with normal 322 toned down badge. Re: MiG-21 preserved at Leeuwarden air base
I am refering to the green/brown camo single-seat MiG-21 right next to the well-known Su-20, preserved between the two southern flightlines. Its bort code was definately not '804', but '010' or maybe '019'. Only the righthand side of the aircraft was visible to us. Anyone? Stephan The aircraft can ...

Re: [4K] Dutch 4-ship F-16 lines-up at the runway, Leeuwarde
It was a flight with the same callsign so I should indeed call it a 4-ship. And at Leeuwarden they did NOT use the afterburner since the beginning of this year! Probably due to the experiences of 2017 with regard to the noice limit.
