Re: 22-09-2013 Tag der Luft- und Raumfahrt EDDK/Köln
Flying A400M was F-WWMT;
Pleasureflights could be taken in Robinson R44's D-HALO, D-HALY, D-HALZ and Bell 206B D-HIPY, all operated by Air Lloyd
Seen on the military apron were A310's 10+23, 10+26 and 10+27; A340 16+02, Global 5000 14+** and 2 BAe146's
On the cargo apron were Star Air/Maersk B767's OY-SRF,G,H; Farnair ATR's HB-AFR,V,W; Bluebird Cargo B737F TF-BBD; Atran B737F **-***, Augsburg AW Emb195 D-AEMB and several UPS B767's
Flying through the CTR was D-ERPM; aerial pictures of the event were taken from D-EEZU
"Vomet Comet" Zero-G A300 F-BUAD of Novespace/DLR/ESA was seen parked near the civil terminal and was supposed to be towed over to the static in the afternoon. Did not wait for that though.
And one correction: correct i/d of the Grob G120TP in the static was D-ETPX

Re: 22-09-2013 Tag der Luft- und Raumfahrt EDDK/Köln
Good morning,
I assume the 14+03 was the Global 5000 parked right of the A340. Just behind the 340 a second Global 5000 was visible,
anybody for the ID of this one ? (saw it on pictures token from the stairs of the 10+24)
The A300 F-BUAD indeed arrived at one PM, guarding it's transit to the static German security officials were acting like being
incredible important human beings, got a real Louis de Funes feeling viewing this (I should have filmed it.....)
When we arrived around 2 PM at our carpark (P5, cargo) a Canadian cargo was logged at the civil ramp.
Will post the registration this evening, when back home. BTW: Beside the BMI EC135 also the ADAC BK117 was seen laeving the airfield.
Close to 5 PM the French Hercules (62-PI according to another treat) came in.
cheers,
Remco

Re: 22-09-2013 Tag der Luft- und Raumfahrt EDDK/Köln
Hi Michiel,
Thanks for the additions. The UPS MD11; did it arrive late afternoon ? We saw one coming in, but I can't exactly recall time. But it was somewhere around 4.30PM/5PM.
A few more additions:
Cargo apron
TF-BBF Boeing 737 Bluebird Cargo
OY-SRL Boeing 767 Maersk/Star Air
DLR area
full scale model (?) of the SCX-01 spacecraft
Walking from the DLR area towards the static a small part of the storage area could be seen:
D-ALIN BAE146 all white
unknown F-27 WDL (white fuselage, WDL tail)
From the rear stairs of the 10+24 another part of this area could be seen:
unknown RJ100 white fuselage/blue tail
unknown RJ100 Lufthansa
cheers,
Remco

Re: 22-09-2013 Tag der Luft- und Raumfahrt EDDK/Köln
And after watching my pictures hereby a few more additions:
46+10 Tornado IDS JBG33. The Tonka wore orange "Einsatzgeschwader Mazar-e-Shariff" badges on both intakes
D-ETPX Grob G120TP. Had a grey sharkmouth.
84+29 CH-53G (MTHR15, or whatever it's called right now). The pilot told me the sad story they will stop flying at Bentlage at the end of this year !
The Luftwaffe LehrWerkstatt will soldier on untill 2017, then it will be over at Rheine-Bentlage...........
50+55 C-160D LTG62. Beside orange "Einsatzgeschwader Mazar-e-Shariff" badges at both sides it wore at the left hand side an incredible large orange
Afghanistan badge with beside Arabic writing (sorry, can't translate it while sober) the tekst "Frieden allen Völkern" & "Mash 12 13".
D-ATRA A320ATRA (Advanced Technology Research Aircraft). Minor details can provide the greatest joy: the A320 had on both winglets
a small but pleasant painting of Icarus, the flying man from Greek myths.
At the platform next to the military apron were parked:
2x BAE146, all white
1x BAE146, blue tail
2x SA227, all white
1x CitationJet
cheers,
Remco

Hello Frank,
Found a site with many aerial pictures, token during the helicopter flights. One of them showed the VP-BCJ, according to the photographer
(registration wasn't visible at the picture). So probably the one you saw.,
cheers,
Remco
