Anna Paulowna.

Post by Tim Jones »

Does anybody have a location for AB 204 227, according to Eurodemobbed last noted 09/12?

221 is also reported as being in the area, last noted EMOOS Jan/04.

Thanks,

Tim.

The website of the foundation is http://www.classicaircraftfoundation.com/

It seems that they indeed have two airframes, 221 and 227. 227 has now a civilian registration PH-UEY. If you Google that, you can find some more info.
It was on static display at the De Kooy/Den Helder air display last september. I assume it got there by road transportation, though it is destined to fly again in the future!
My guess is that the owner has a hangar near Anna Paulowna where the two helicopters are stored.

They restaurate the AB204's a barn next to their house, so it is on private ground. Been searching for it a view years ago, and found out the exact location then... Was lucky that only a daughter was at home, she not realy setup with us peaking in the barn for a few minutes. Don't know how the owner would feel about that.

I'm currently at the office, hope I remind myself to look-up the address when I get home tonight.

Tim, in addition the contact details on the website is the same location as where their barn (workshop) is situated, it is on the backside of this white house (check Google Maps).

Wijgert,

Thanks very much for your reply. Sorry for the delay I have no re visited this forum for some time. Indeed 227 was in the static at Volkel show and I was very pleased to see it. We had a look for the house/barn during our visit to FF but with no luck. I have seen pictures of the house but can't work out where it is. Does anyone have the coordinates please? I will try again during the next addition of FF.

Many thanks,

Tim.

I don't know if it is a good idea to put private adreses on a forum because you might get privacy problems with the land owner.

Especially as the adress also serves as a bed & breakfast.
