Florennes Airshow Saturday 23-06-12

A couple of my shots taken off-base. In fact, these are the only aircraft I was able to shoot in sunshine.. The participants list was very good, the weather was not bad at all, but the flight planning was terrible! No jet flights before 13:30h. We left at 17:00 because the position of the sun was so bad we couldn't take any photos anymore, and still we managed to miss the Croatian PC-9s, Greek F-16, Italian EF2000, Slovakian MiG-29!! Very disappointing..

Three of mine of the trafficwise worst organised show I ever visited. We were 10 km from the gate at 11:45, and entered the show at 15:15.

First: Very nice shots!
Second: There was/is a spottersday for €40 were you could be in the middle of the the action on Friday and Monday.
Third: If you want all the fighters all in the early afternoon, it could be boring for the other people for what the airshow is meant to be.

Be glad the Belgian Defence gave us the chance to see something if you look what happened in France.
