Strange, as the only formal info from NL-MOD states that only three would remain in the flying fleet.

Mindef-website mentions eight (http://www.rijksoverheid.nl/ministeries ... escue.html ) , as proposed by parliament. Given that fact, I think it's fair to assume that the final plans will also mean eight operational Cougars for the time being.
