In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

[PICS] Lelystad Airport (LEY / EHLE) 06-03-2011

Spent an hour this Sunday afternoon at Lelystad Airport, right under the approach of runway 05R. Lot of general aviation flying. Besides Dutch aircraft you can also see US-registered ones, and even aircraft from Poland (based), Germany, the UK and Romania. Just some shots, enjoy!

#1 The local AWACS, a Diamond DA42MPP Twin Star with Riegl 650 laser pod

#2 Poorly lit, but nice to see, a Xenon gyrocopter (F-JRAS) from RoAir

#3 A regular, but still nice to watch (and hear), Saab 91D Safir PH-RLA

#4 Diamond HK36 D-KVOK did a very tight 90 degree approach almost over the runway

#5 Aero AT-3 SP-GED is a regular at Lelystad an apparently has antenna vortex issues ;)

#6 Very nice home-built Tri-R KIS TR-1 G-OKMA

#7 Very sleek lines, this Lancair N6504K

#8 PH-MAN used to be a Martinair DC-9. Now this regi used for a very nice CzechAirworks SportCruiser, with a friendly pilot on short final. Hey MAN!

Are there two DA42 on EHLE? Nice pictures...love the SP-GED with "vortex" haha.
