Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Gilze-Rijen EHGR 17-01-2011

Just before the rain started to hit Noord Brabant, I went to the slopes. Nobody else present this time. The weather was shitty anyhow. I stopped the photo shooting when the first rain drops fell on my camera. Fortunately I had the time to capture some slope actions. You can imagine that it was far from being ideal for the photo and I had to boost Mr ISO to some higher values. Grizzly 3 and Bat 72 came for some exercises and it produced the following typical "regular" slope shots :

Did somebody say the most beautiful shots were made in shitty weather  ? Just kidding, these are not great.

Why not? I think they are perfect. You do not always need sunshine for good shots.
Don't underestimate yourself.

Well maybe it is just me and i am too picky but I think there is too much digital noise/grain on these shots. But do not get me wrong, I like posting them though. Not because they are perfect but [1] because they illustrate "another day at EHGR" and [2] I post therefore I am

They are not that bad. In fact, I like photo 2 very much. The shade under the Chinook is very interesting as there was little sunshine.
And second, I haven't seen much that a Chinook turns the starboard side towards the fence.

Glad there is something to it :) Thanks.

In case you follow the discussion (EHGR spotters forum) on the ghost Spanish Aircraft, this is what made me miss the shot of the Falcon900B :

Nice black and white shot, the angle compliments the depth of field very well!
