De eyeball Mk-1 is nog altijd het beste Ernesto!
En een paar goede flappertjes aan beide zijden van het hoofd om de scanner uit te luisteren!

Darn ! I missed it by a couple of minutes. I was actually planning to stay until 1530 bu the cold made me leave :||O:

Perhaps very naive question but is there a way to know ahead of time if some vipers plan to come to EHGR ? How frequently do they show up on EHGR ?

@Arno, two Cougars came in close formation overhead Veenendaal twice in both directions (S-->N and vice versa). Can't see them in your log?

That's not a naive question at all, so no worries. To answer it: F-16's are not literally daily visitors to Gilze, but they show up for approaches pretty often. Their visits are not usually known in advance. Bringing a radioscanner buys you about 10-30 minutes of "pure future" That is, if you listen to the right frequencies, and if you're familiar with the basics of aviation R/T. Otherwise, it's just a matter of luck and perseverance. Well, in view of the temperatures this week it's mostly perseverance... :D

Regards and happy hunting!

Stephan
