Re: ETAR 24-01-2010
Took a look at the field today between 13:00 and 15:00. Not much going on. Ramps were quite full. Unfortunetaly the weather was very, very bad. Low cloud ceiling or a stuffed cellar would be more correct! Seen today at a drizzly Ramstein;
L. 13.05 KC-135R 23572 Kansas ANG
T. 13.35 C-37 ????? (grey c/s)
T. 13.40 C-17A 33118 183 AS
T. 13.47 C-17A 21112 183 AS
L. 14.15 C-17A 66164 60 AW
L. 14.30 C-17A 0186 62 AW (coming in from Spangdahlem)
L. 14.35 C-21A 84-0082 76 ALS
L. 14.40 C-130H 21533 Wyoming ANG
T. 14.44 C-17A ??? 62 AW
L. 14.55 C-17A 60003 62 AW
In addition to the above movements;
On the ramp two C-5 could be identified 70035, 70045 from the 436th AW. Plus another unidentified one from this wing.
Plus 1 x C-5 from Memphis, 1 x C-5 with red tail stripe (ANG?), 2 x C-5's from unknown wings. 1 x KC-135 (in front of big hangar).
2 x C-17 from the 62nd, 1 x C-17 from the 452nd. 1 x C-130H from Wyoming and two C-130J's that were not belonging to the 37th AS.
Will try to update more when I have done some more de-cyphering and deducing. If anyone can fill in the gaps, please go ahead. Maybe one of you die-hards (sorry Eric, couldn't resist )
Any info is highly appreciated, many thanks and best regards,
Arjan

Re: ETAR 24-01-2010
What´s up with that exercise in the next days?
It says movements are expected to be 24h and there will be simulated attacs!?! Are these attacs from the ground or air?
THX
