Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Phantoms, Phantoms and Phantoms + other hardware day1
Last October i spent two days at superbase Hyakuri...
unfortunately we had real grey weather and difficult light
conditions on this first day... but that didn't stop us shooting "some" pictures

Great shots. Only one tiny remark. Some come across a bit too oversharpened for my taste.. It reaches the point of being a bit unnatural.

Very nice to see such a good report from Hyakuri, Dino, my compliments. Pin sharp and crisp, despite the weather in some cases. Well done!
My previous question snowed under somewhat however. Do you know when Hyakuri's reconstruction will be complete?
Hans.

Nop... i don't know when the new "old" runway will be active again.Hans Rolink wrote:Do you know when Hyakuri's reconstruction will be complete?
I understood A flight checker YS-11 did some testing already on this new runway in the first week of November...

Our Japanese contacts do no know exactly, but the contract says it has to be finished before the end of the Japanese fiscal year, being 31 March 2010.

Great pictures again!! Interesting views and compositions, although I don't understand some of the wingclippings like for instance the taxiing T-4 56-5735 and the taxiing F-15DJ 12-8074.
But nevertheless, allready looking forward to see the next day pics!
Cheers,
Peter
