Hi All,
I'm sure many fellow Scramble members will remember the Woodford Airshows between 1969 and 2000. BAE Systems have recently announced that the Woodford plant will officially close in 2012, ending over eight decades of aviation history.
The campaign for one final airshow at the Woodford plant to celebrate the achievements of the plant and it's workforce was officially launched on 11th November 2009 with the unveiling of a new website, where visitors can show their support for the proposed Airshow by signing the online petition. Currently there is also a facebook group with over 1,000 members.
