Joost, If there was additional information it was at the beginning of the contact before I got to the receiver, as nothing followed this contact above that I could hear.

As far as I know Raymond 12 is Minot AFB 5BW Ops. Which fits perfectly with his Callsign

England AFB closed in 1992.

Raymond 12 is Minot AFB, See also http://mt-milcom.blogspot.com/search/la ... 20callsign" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for a log back in 2007, with confirmed Raymond Callsigns . Also listed in official Publications, Check also http://worldaerodata.com/wad.cgi?id=US47917" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Also Bergstrom AFB closed during the 90's

Apologies All-I should have known better, Minot sounded logical but I didn't cross check the listing I used. So many bases have closed I can't trust my (always imperfect) memory anymore.

Does anyone know where CHILL42/JOSA42 ended up?
Did it hit a range in Spain or somewhere in the Med Sea or did it just turn around like the B-2A's did the other month?

At first he had A/R with Quid 91/92 If I recall correctly. At that point he was Eastbound, When Refueling with Quid 93/94 believe he was Westbound again. So my best guess he indeed hit Spain or portugal.

JOSA42 constantly was up 11175.0

If that was the case there would be most certainly a NOTAM regarding opening of ATZ of Fairford.
Mildenhall is also a Option, commonly used by B-1's while enroute back/from Gulf region when AAR did not went accoarding plan.

09.10.12-1516z---but apparently he has not thrown any bombs around... -- we would have heard about it in the press... - He is consuming too much fuel just to fly circles over the North Atlantic... -

...and after the POTUS has received the Nobel, I doubt very much that there is an attack anywhere in the programme...
