I am correct, is the blue in the camouflage of this Mirage different then it used to be (more grey tone)? Noticed this also on my other pics, already tried to change it with PS, but this is as I think the real color as shot.

Two questions:mirage 69 wrote:You can walk along the parralel runway were all the planes are parked.....it will be one big spot for good pictures.
If you have enough mm's you can also take pictures on the runway.
Just go there, no worries and have fun
See you on Friday
Friday's weather forecast is telling me easterly winds so runway 05 so I guess roll away to the right is okaynilsko wrote:I do hope most pilots will show their uppersides during takeoff and not roll away to the right just after takeoff. I hope someone from (or close to) the KeeBee team is reading this forum too and can relay that message
Question 1: I have visited several spotter-days at KB and on all these occasions, the planes were parked on the parallel runway and sorties were flown from there.jeroen wrote:1. can you confirm that all of the aircraft or most of the aircraft will be parked on the parallel runway as they fly out of the shelter area during this weeks missions as I am right informed? Don't shoot me if I am wrong and hopefully I am wrong but I was told there will be only a static display on the parallel runway and the flying part is from the shelter area at the other side of the runway. Once again hopefully I am wrong...
2. can you confirm that the grass - if there is any - is not too high to photograph decently on the runway? Same question for the parallel runway... I can remember events from previous years that steps are needed to have the landing gear not hidden behind grass, that's why this question...
Of course I consider myself very lucky that KB is organizing such an event for us... and yes based on all the previous ocassions - I had my first one on KB in 1985(!) - the aircraft were parked on the parallel runway but I just want to know if Mirage 69 could confirm it as I heard a different story this year...Zipper wrote:Hi...

If you want to know for sure, call the base...
Question 2: Ask the gardener, maybe he knows...![]()
Just think of it that we are lucky that we are allowed on the base (although we pay for it)...
