In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Sunderland Int. Airshow 2009

Good Morning!
I finally finished editing my photos of Sunderland last weekend. As I was visiting Glasgow last week I took the train over to Newcastle on the Saturday and really enjoyed the show along with the nice weather :P. Apart from the usual UK stuff
there were the Dutch F16 and Belgium F16 demo teams. I found the Dutch rather disappointing actually, besides not using his flares it was a bit of slow-go... The stage is just great and the Red Arrows totally completed the scene as they opened the show:

I'd rather depict atmosphere and the 'heat of the moment' making a catchy photo than to reflect the real situation and real colours showing a boring photo.

If it's broken, it will not fly. That's easy. We will see next year.

Since about 2007/2008ish there is a regulation in the UK that flares are not to be used during airshows... :(
