I had this day planned long time ago to go to the Frisian Flag but since the participants were a bit dissapointing I decided to spend a day at Wittmund. Clear blue sky and some nice morning flying resulted in some nice shots. Unfortunately the heat haze in the afternoon was too much to get decent pictures. Here the some results of today:

PS: What is the situation with the new (and higher) fence? Is it completely finished now?

Hi Walter,
Yes, the new high fence is finished from beginning to the end of the runway so steps are really needed except on the small hill with the BAe Systems hangar. Today I brought a 3-step stairs and it was sufficient for most situations.
