Nice log(s) Crizz. T-350 is a typo, I guess? (possibly T-360?)

Too bad I was not allowed to stay at the east side, near the road crossing or shelter ( spot 1 ).
Even after asking politely at the gate security this was no longer allowed.
As the aircraft took off to the east, I positioned myself near spot 4 to be able to picture all aircraft while lining up.
In this case there was not much back light, although the sun was nowhere present due to a solid cloud cover.
The base is not fenced off completely, only the aprons, so all views are unobstructed.
For the landing shots, I drove to the east side, just outside the base perimeter to picture all aircraft with the sun in my back.
Not the pictures I was hoping for, but in the end the best possibility regarding the conditions.
During the lunch break I crossed the runway a couple of times just for the fun of it and had a look in the museum through the windows as it was closed on mondays.

A whole day was spent at Payerne in much better weather than predicted. We were kept busy with 4 waves of about 6 Hornets and also some F-5's flew. We positioned ourselves at South side by the time the first wave returned. We spent the whole morning on top of the shelter without troubles. About half an hour after installing ourseleves there again for the afternoon security politely asked us to move to the viewing area North of the runway. By that time we had more than enough good shots

Re: Payerne (LSMP) - 2009 MIL
Hi all,
making a stop on the way from Geneva to Brienz at Payerne on 05-10-2009 the following was seen during a few hours in the afternoon. Not being a military spotter (shame on me, I know) not everything seen was read. The Mirage was nice though...
A-916 PC-7
A-917 PC-7
HB-RDF Mirage III "J-2012"
J-5002 F/A-18C
J-5009 F/A-18C
J-5014 F/A-18C
T-338 Cougar
T-341 Cougar
T-351 EC635
The 2 PC-7's were part of an 8 ship formation taking off. Time to move on. Next stop Bern-Belp for a cup of coffee.
