Volgens deze Notam is de afremkabel welke in geval van nood bijvoorbeeld een F-16 kan opvangen buitenwerking is. Als een F-16 niet meer kan remmen zal hij zijn "Tail hook" naar beneden doen en hiermee de kabel opvangen. Aan de kabel zit een afremmechanisme waardoor de F-16 tot stil stand komt.
