Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Florennes 11-Dec-2008

Post by DJdeRidder »

I went to Florennes yesterday to conclude a good spotting year. Even after all TLP participants had taken off it looked like weather would be grey all day, but shortly before landings we suddenly had clear blue skies and some nice winter sunshine. Proves once again you can't trust the weather (predictions) at Florennes! Only disappointment was that the Italian AV-8s didn't fly (third time in a row I did not see them fly at TLP :? ).

Here's a quick selection of some of the highlights:

While on the subject of painting...what about the Greek Viper. Judging from the difference in color between the a/c and the CFT it could do with a fresh lick of paint as well :P

Hi everybody,

I'm new at the forum. I just bought my first camera, a Canon EOS 40D + 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6.

I went with DJsDeRidder to Florennes to test the camera for the first time.

I'll hope you enjoy the pictures...
