Went to DUS last sunday, was a very dull day regarding the number of flying activities, sometimes 20 minutes went by without t/o or landing! Besides the great weather, the fun-side was that almost all 'regulars' sent unknown airframes, so I really had a good day "collection-wise"...
In the morning it was very cold, so lots of de-icing equipment in action...
Runway in use was the 05, but after a good hour they changed to 23.
Ever more airberlin aircraft are seen in the new livery, inclusing two of the three A321's
Always a pleasure to see A-330's land, I think they make great pictures. From April 30 on Lufthansa will base A-340's at Dus, love those big birds!
Another white/red colorscheme... liked the old colors better...
A new one to me, VP-BWK
same story, my 8th Alitalia Express Emb-145, hope this summer will bring some more...
As they switched rwy, I decided to stay on the terminal terrace, makes a nice change as usually I'm at the Bahnhofterrasse.. D-ADII still in old colors.
Black and beatyful; hooray a non-white bizjet!
Probably due to easter holidays, loads of turks , and loads of new ones to me as well!
A brand new Sun Express, only a month old!
depending on the take-off some nice shots can be made. Lauda with the OE-LNP.
Since a couple of weeks Aegean uses the A-320 instead of the Boeing 737.
and a new KD-avia to me ... No matter how frequent you visit a place, always new things to photograph!
Iberia without an endangered anamila species painted on the nose.. always like these special paint jobs (see earlier DUS-posts)
A golden oldie from hapag, has been with them for many years, had it on slide, but not yet on my harddisk....
and a small bird to end the posting for today..
More will follow....

This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |
