In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Dusseldorf wednesday 19th.

Revenge time; after a disappointing last saturday at Dussy, the pre-christmas lull at work allowed me to take a day off and photograph away my frustration. Arrived at DUS ten past nine in the morning (terrace opens at nine in the winter season) and it was cold but sunny!!


Air Berlin is really making quick progress with restyling the fleet in their new colours.

This D-AGEP until recently was a yellow-cab for Hapag-lloyd Expres.

One wonders what will happen with the PrivateAir CJ's once the A-340 starts flying the CONUS routes from may 2008 on....

If big birds stay low during take-off, the Bahnhof terrace allows great take-off shots!

Finally finally got the SAS retro bird, in fact twice this day!

A newcomer; D-ACSB is the first CRJ-700 operated by Eurowings and has been in service only for a few weeks.

Some additions regarding a thread in the photoforum about using a monopod....

The retro SAS, almost black and white through the lack of light round this time... 80 mm, f4,5 and 1/60 at ISO 200.

first of all ..excelent pictures!! 8) well done.
maybe a tip for next time, when uploading your pictures beware of the size. try 800x600px or 1024x768 :wink:

you're right, I didn't change the settings last time.. Funny thing is, I did change some formats in Photobucket, but somehow t'hey don't resize once posted.. have now changed my settings in Lightrom though :-)

I like the 1024x768 very much.
Use it myself too when I post pics on the forum.

I Think if one has a 17"monitor a bit smaller is better, not everybody has a 19 or 20 inch screen.... I used to post them a bit smaller than I recently did, but exported some files for a friend from Lightroom and left the settings untouched...

I really like them on my 22 inch screen. :D

So do I on my 20", but I know many people have smaller ones... (screens I mean.. :? )

I Think I posted them at 1600 or 1400, but I think 1200 or 1000 is probably a bit more social...
