Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Post by Frank »

Hi all

Last Wednesday we went to the TLP and we were very fortunate with the weather. Had a great time until we found out that some people made even better shots that day. Yes Mo and Fred, Do not hesitate to rub that in :-)

But here some of mine. Click on the pictures to get the larger image

Dear 'house photogs',

Message Board rule C.10 plus the rules for this very forum here require you to only post photos here directly - no linking to other photo sites and certainly not thumbnails. We may leave this topic as it is, but please stick to those rules to avoid us having to archive your entries.

Thx,
Erik

Hi Erik,

I am certainly not looking for discussion or arguments, but I don't see the problem really. It is not possible to post photos directly, they are always linked from online photo storage. This can be your own webspace, image shack or a photo bucket. Now what is the problem when linked from airfighters exactly? I do agree on the thumbnails however.

Cheers, Mo

Hi Mo,

Have talked this over with Frank a little as well. I can see your guys' problems with bandwidth etc. Although it is a thin line, there will be no problems with these pics themselves. However, the text links 'click to enlarge' and even more so the 'Click on the pictures to get the larger image' are essentially stuff that we want to limit to Your Website: it's promotion to go and see (in this case your photos on) another website.

If we want to further discuss this, let's do it via PM/mail.

Cheers,
Erik

Hi Erik,

OK, I see your point. In future cases I will leave out the extra 'enlarge text' and just stick to the pic! Thanks.
