arkefly PH-MCV

Post by klmer »

The PH-MCV will leave the fleet in october from arkefly and wil go back to ILFC. Plane is currectly flying for arke but wil go back for six week to BMI and will come back in october for 1 or 2 weeks flying for Arke before it will leave arkefly.

This bird the will get a d-check in Germany and after that it will go to Varig in Brasil.

If you want to see it in the Arkefly colours its now the time to make the Photo's

What a shame to loose this bird again

What i know is that the aircraft will be deleivered back to ILFC around 29 oct 2007.

If it will fly 2 weeks for arke you see that it will fly from around 15 oct till 29 oct for arke.

it will be 6 weeks for BMI that should than be around 3 sept back to BMI for 6 weeks.

MCV is not a bad 767 but the cabin layout is different than the other 767 from arkefly.

Arkefly will get in november a new 737-800 and april the second

In what way different? Cabin has been reconfigured in Shannon and now also has 270 seats.

I've lost track here, what does the Arkefly c/s look like? Five aircraft, four different colour schemes!?
is the ph-mcv one of the better a/c? as I read in the past that the planes are often aoc.

Uhm, difficult question. Either the aircraft was leased out to others because it's the worst in the fleet, or it's the best, so it was able to provide a steady income for Arkefly... :?

Ah well, I guess Arkefly isn't that bad. At least they give their passengers information and a compensation (vouchers) whenever they're delayed. Try getting that from Fly Air!

The interior in completly different that the other Arkefly 767. Also the positions of the toilets. Sidewall panels has different colours galleys are different than the others. The other arke aircrafts has 272 seats avail except the PH-MCV. So this all together was the reason(besides 4 767 in the fleet is to much) that this bird should be withdrawn from there fleet. But the good news there wil be a brandnew 737-800 coming around november

The PH-AHQ is the correct arkefly colour scheme for now.

And Thomson.fly and Corsair and Hapag Lloyd. But "for now" is indeed correct... Hapag Lloyd 737's are already being painted over in TUI yellow...

I've heard that the MCV has been AOG on more occasions than the others, but thats purely word of mouth stuff.

However I have a very reliable source that at least the first Arkefly B738 will be in the blue TUI colour scheme.

I have heard from a reliable source that TUIfly will also change into the blue in due time...

The yellow colors aren't very welcome in Germany...

The yellow colour of HapagLloyd isn't very welcomed to any of the other TUI airlines. So this far they are refusing to paint any of their aircraft in the yellow scheme until a agreement has been made between the TUI partners.

That's one thing why ArkeFly hasn't began painting the fleet into one uniform scheme.
