Korean low-cost carrier T'way Air from one to five European destinations in a short period of time

Post by YS11 »

Korean low-cost carrier T'way Air will also fly between Seoul and Frankfurt from October 3. The airline operates an Airbus A330 on the route three times a week. It is already the fifth European destination in a short time for the Koreans.

To get approval for their merger, Korean Air and Asiana have had to give up slots on multiple routes between South Korea and Europe. Otherwise, there would be too little competition. As a result, T'way Air can now expand rapidly on this continent.

Currently, the Croatian capital Zagreb is the only European destination, but in August the airline will start flights to Rome and Paris, followed in September by Barcelona and from October also Frankfurt. A330s will be used on all routes.
