(no) Frisian Flag; Weapons Instructor Course 2024

Post by Crowflight »

Heard rumours of no Frisian Flag for 2024, is this correct? Or can we expect it’s return next year?

Hasn't it happened before that both FF and WIC were held?

According to an article in CAJ, Germany will also support the WIC 2024. Although it might be from their homebase or location in Germany (like the RNlAF did with their WIC in 2023 as the German WIC and the RNlAF WIC now take place alternately).

Last WIC German EF2000's and Tornado's were stationed at Leeuwarden for the final 2 weeks of the training, as this was also the final exercise for German Weapon Instructor pilots (first part of their training was at Laage)
