Night shoot with 298sq at Gilze-Rijen 21 November 2022

KNVOL organized a night shoot with 298sq at DHC airbase Gilze-Rijen. The rainfall required some creativity of the squadron staff and they came up with positioning one of their Chinooks just outside the hangar so that all the photographers could work from the inside out.
A big thanks to the organizers of the event. They were super enthousiastic and worked relentlesly to make sure all the photographers went home with a smile on their face.
Thank you very much 298sq staff!

CH-47F D-481 was the star of the evening but an Apache of the neighbours also wanted a piece of the action.

Two of the light sources were placed inside for a nice effect. The Apache once again decided to do a photo bomb.
