My main goal was the Rolls Royce B747 which I last saw in July 1984 when it was almost new and flying for Cathay Pacific.
The west side of this airport is the home of various stored airliners but taking pictures was not that easy due to the fact that I did not have a ladder. Also there was a lot of backlight so I had to make the most of it.
Not sure if this Frontier A320 N227FR is due to leave the fleet or simply in for new titles.

There are several IndiGo A320's stored here. This is the former VT-IHY.

Another one. Former VT-INP

A320 XA-BIC from Mexican Interjet

A321Neo VP-BTP which will become G-POWT with Titan Airways.

Another former IndiGo. This will become PK-SAS with Super Air Jet.

This is either ZK-OJF or ZK-OJI from Air New Zealand. Probably here for parting out.

The colors of previous owner Atlas Global are still somewhat visible. This A321 N668SD is the pilot A321F conversion from Sine Draco.

A very old B727-100C from Federal Express in use by the Pima College. The registration was N116FE.

Air Canada sent several EMB190's to Tucson. This is N116NA (former C-FMZR).

This DHC-8 is prototype C-GGMP painted in the house colors of Bombardier.

I drove to the other side of the field to a spot near the ATC tower.
This used to be HC-CPB with TAME.

A very old B737-300 XA-UXT from Magni Charters. Stored here for several years.

A well known frame from our part of the world is this former YR-BMA of Blue Air.

A bit further away was this Sierra Pacific B737-500 N708S. A British Airways machine a very long time ago.

This part of the field was also the place where I found the RR B747-200 N787RR.

Back in July 1984 I saw this machine as VR-HIA with Cathay Pacific. I add this pic just for fun.
