Hello all, would like to know if anyone can tell me whether the F16s en F35s are regularly flying from Volkel this week?
And any advice as to where to seek shelter against the heat is much appreciated!
Regards, Aldin

For the F-35 you must go to EHLW. Expect no shadow on EHVK when there is eastern wind.

At the spotters hill there are some trees to find shadow. On the 06 side there also a few trees, but not as much and not near the fence.
Expect about 4 to 8 F-16s per wave (2 waves a day)
Today it looks like they are training to refueling while the engine is running so they aren't flying waves. Possibly more to see than usual

Flying activities will be "as usual", check SG Volkel on Facebook, but you see find F16's only.Aladin wrote:Hello all, would like to know if anyone can tell me whether the F16s en F35s are regularly flying from Volkel this week?

As I presume it will be eastern wind, the best location is near the parking along the N264.
On the opposite side of the road, you will find a dirtroad with trees providing some shadow.
Check the pages: https://sgvolkel.nl/cms/index.php/waar- ... -op-volkel
Bring enough water and sunblocker.
Good hunting!
