Hi,
As Xi’an is a base for Tianjin as well, in combination with all the stored Do328’s of Hainan, this airport was on our list as well.
Decided to do this one full day, arrive early morning, departure in the evening.
There is a footbridge between the terminals, from here, with Wifi as well, nothing to be missed.
One runway in front of you (Northern), arrivals on the Southern runway cannot be seen, but you do see the departures.

From the footbridge you were able to see 3x stored Do328’s and 2x stored E145’s (in the NW corner). Unfortunately 1x Do328 could not be read off, anyone ideas?

As the NE part of the airport is not visible from the terminals (the area with all the other stored aircrafts), we decided to take a taxi.
Now, more by good fortune than planning (and with help from google maps on the phone of the driver, who did not speak any English of course),
we came on a dirty road ending close to the fence where all the Do328’s were stored. Below the log (all read off)
