Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. St. Maarten (SXM/TNCM) 27/05-06/07-2016 (CIV) (photo heavy)
It was hard but here a selection from my holiday to Sint Maarten.
#1 The F-GNII was used a lot to Sint Maarten
#2
#3 Once per week with two airplanes Fly Sunwing
#4 FedEx went, together with DHL, always low
#5 Delta came a lot with 757 to naar Sint Maarten
#6 Catch me if you can
#7 DHL with the same plane as FedEx
#8 The winner of the; "How low can you go" competition during my holiday. The day after I met the pilot of this airplane.
#9 The deafenin, at take off, 727 off AmeriJet.
#10
#11 The person in the yellow t-shirt is the pilot I was talking about.
#12
#13 JetBlue is also a regular visitor off Sint Maarten
#14 The pilot took me onto the airfield for some photos.
#15
#16
#17 Really cool to see a airplane pasing by on 15 meters.
#18 Or seeing one departure at 50 meters.
#19 Sadly enough he had to depart in the other direction otherwise he would have made a low departure for me.
#20
#21 Spirit does visit Sint Maarten also once a week.
#22 United Airlines winning effort to be the lowest big one of the week.
#23 Air Caraïbes with de A330, was a nice suprise.
#24 Tried the other side of the airfield for the departure.
#25
#25 Copa Airlines just higher than the United 737.
#26 KLM with 747 and by chance carrying a friend of mine on his way to Curacao.
#27 Really magnificant sight to see such an giant this way.
#28
#29 The TUI 787 was late the previous time so this was a nice catch.
#30
#31
#32 From the other side of the window the view looks like this.
#33 My hotel/resort
#34 A stop on Curacao
#35 Beautiful halo with shade during the departure from Curacao.
#36 Didn't found any gold...
#37 And as the crown up on my holiday the beautiful 747 cockpit.
#38
I hoped you enjoyed watching my photos.

Nice set!
I like #27 a lot, as I often forget how impressive the B747 actually is. This one says it all.
