Can confirm your "educated guess". Flew recently Hanoi - Da Nang in Vueling A320. To my surprise Cockpit and Cabin crew were Spanish as well. Two Vietnamese cabin attendants were supplementing the crew. Will surely be an expensive lease for Jetstar Pacific, to have European crew flying their Vietnamese skies.
