Trip Switzerland 22 - 26 September MIL

Initially the plan was to go to Austria, but because it seems that they don't fly a lot we changed the plan into Switzerland.
The weather forecast was quit good so we planned to go camping. We stayed at the camping in Buochs. From here we drove to all the airfieds we visited.

every day we stopped by the Pilatus factory to read the serial numbers and if possible making some photos.
All the numbers we read at Pilatus are compiled into one (week)log.

Monday 22-9 Emmen

My main purpose was to catch some Swiss PC-21's, as they didn't fly during the WK in May.
A-101 A-103 A-104 A-106 A-107 A-108 Each day 4 times a day 4 PC-21's flew.
F-5E J-3065, J-3004 stored.

PC-7 A-917/2 A-926/8
PC-6 V-612 V-613 V-617 V-620 V-633 V-634. The PC-6 flew a lot taking off and landing in all directions.

Patrick,

The Diamond DA42 was taken from the tent 'doorstep' at the camping. It was early morning and very grey, but managed to make the picture quite better. When I enlarged the foto on my camera I noticed that it is a military one. Just took the photo to check the light conditions!!!
Saw the same aircraft twice at Emmen as well but we were not in the right position to make a pic. It was parked at or near the RUAG facility.
