WFU A-7 Corsair's near Las Vegas?

Post by SnapperBaz »

Having just moved to Vegas from LA I went to Mt Charleston to see the nature side of things now Redflag has ended! Joined the I-95 freeway NW of Las Vegas (maybe 25 miles out?) and noticed on the northern side of the freeway what looked like a small military facility between the road 156 and 157 junctions on the I-95. I then noticed what looked to be 2 light grey A-7 Corsair fuselage's tail on....has anyone got an I/D for these aircraft and confirmation on the types? I will check again on these at some point when passing....strangely can see no sign of them on Google Earth!!!

Cheers,

Baz

I do not have these A-7s yet on my site and can't find them either on GE. The military facility you mention, is that at 36.470595,-115.442899
Pictures of that location are of 2011, which means a lot can have changed in the meantime...
