Decision seems to have been made regarding the second batch for Israel: 14 Aircraft now, 17 aircraft in 2017, making the total of 50 with batch 1 and 2 combined. Israel Is expected to buy a third batch of 25 in the future, to get to 75 aircraft, or 3 squadrons.

US government authorized the additional funding of 2 extra F-35A and 2 extra F-35C for LRIP-9, bringing the us total to 38, and the total nr including international purchases to 61 for this lot.

Does anyone know when 12-5048 and 12-5050 were delivered to Luke AFB?
And is A35-001 also at Luke, or is A35-002 the only RAAF F-35A currently with 61st FS?

Next US Squadron to receive F-35As will be 16th WPS at Nellis AFB, frames 12-5049/WA "16th WPS" and 12-5051/WA "USAFWS" have already been noted at Fort Worth.

Nice one!The first purchase of these aircraft was made in 2010 and the first planes are expected to land in Israel in 2017.
Like any other plane that enters into service in the IDF, the F-35 will receive a Hebrew name, “Ha-Adir” (The Great).
(EDITOR’S NOTE: It is very disappointing to see the Israel Defense Force, which over the years has acquired a very flattering reputation for operational effectiveness and engineering inventiveness, reduced to spouting meaningless marketing-speak.

Turkey decided to order 4 more F-35As, bringing the total to 6. Eventually Turkey intends to buy 100 F-35.
