Just saw a pair of Chinooks flying overhead Lisse flying from East to West in the direction of the coast. Anyone for the serials?

Chinooks over Zuid-Holland

Three days in a row: Chinooks across Het Groene Hart, following the Rhine (?).

Monday i did not see them, but later on (17:30LT) i saw 1 returning near Woubrugge going east.
Tuesday two went west circa 14:15, and one returned circa 17:30.
Wednesday, again two going west, lets see what happens at 17:30.

No FLIR seen on the nose, but too far/dark to see colors.

Noted a green one Eastbound over De Kaag yesterday around the same time you're mentioning..

This morning i've seen a Hercules ( i think heading south) overhead Heerlen around 11:00 and about 10 minutes later a KC135 in take off from geilenkirchen.
Anybody an id on those ac?
Compromise is failure.

16-10-2013 om 14:10 zag ik boven ijmuiden van west naar oost een dornier do 228 van de kustwacht in formatie vliegen met een kleiner geel kleurig vliegtuigje, een pc7 mischien?
Iemand hier meer informatie over?

De formatie vloog vanaf Schiphol voor een fotovlucht. Deze PC-7 in kwestie staat normaal op Antwerpen/Zwartbergen als ik mij niet vergis, prive toestel :wink:

Norwegian Air Force 953 C130 NOW335E was active at that time. 11:00UTC?

11:30 picked up sbs signal 58-0074 K35R ESSO75 Could be the one.

I don't know where you got this info, but C-130H 953 is in a museum in Norway. C-130J-30 5601 was flying that day as 'NOW 335E', visiting Eindhoven in the afternoon.

SBS code 478115, mil changes often. The 5601 must have flown with that SBS code then. SBS receiver relies on a database which is not allways up to date and mil sbs codes changes more frequent.

Anyone for the Hercules (or An-12) the crossed Enschede (Twente) at 18.18h from east to west (so Germany to the UK?) today?

Two CO ANG Hercules crossed NL around that time. Both heading to Prestwick.

SBS signal around that time and flying form east to west:

94-7315 C130 REACH335 at 18000 ft
94-7320 C130 REACH779 at 18000 ft

(Latest known registrations with broadcasted sbs signal, checked.)
