Funny that most of you thought that it would be a sonar buoy or liferaft canister. It is actually a latrine (toilet). Left one male, right one female (or male with bigger needmwpeters wrote:Ok here's one from my side.

They actually don't have latrines in a KC-135?? Wow, I would think that would not be something that would be compromised on. Not that it needs to be luxurious but this is almost ridiculous 
Really if you consider the fact that there are batteries right next to it and the sign actually says Danger High Voltage... That's the stupidest place I could ever think of to put a toilet on a plane

It's really true, this is the place where they pee. Made the picture of it during a tankerflight last year. But it is not that strang to have a small latrine in a cargo/tanker aircraft. Mission can enlong up to 10 hours with at least three people, most of the times extra personell is added.
