Its a 1, not an I... indeed. The MLD used letters but painted the corresponding number in the alphabet on the plane. Thus, B-25 A-14 was painted as "1-14". This presentation was retained when some aircraft went to the LSK (again, NOT the KLu, but that's nitpicking to the extreme...). There were 5, detached to EHGR between july 1947 (first in) and december 1948 (last out), according to the book "KLu Vliegtuig- en registratieoverzicht 1945-2005" (C. van den Heuvel, Flash, 2004): 1-14,15,16,17,19.
