Paul-760 has hit the nail on the head and hopefully ended the spotters day ping-pong. Not only 10 days to choose from, but removing Wx worries from the equation: NTM19 from the rondpoint Thursday was a lot better than the Friday for pix, and Freezerland in March is hardly guaranteed CAVOK every day.
But if every single request is being aired, if the CA ANG come can they bring 80-0048. MTIA

There are rumours about participation of FS Charles de Gaulle. It seems that this is mentioned during the COC today.

Even *if* de CdG would participate, the Rafales themselves would not be at Leeuwarden, but land at the carrier itself. Planning, briefing and debriefing would probably take place over videolink or something.

There is always a squadron "at home" at NAS Landivisiau if the CdG is at sea. So some Navy Rafales *could* participate in FF, if they just fly from Brittany to Leeuwarden.
Let's wait and see....

Correct, but the initial rumour was that about participation of FS Charles de Gaulle, not about a unit from Landivisiau.
For the benefit of Mr. Kite, there will be a show tonight on trampoline

617 Sqn have headed out for RED Flag today, maybe a bit of confusion starting this rumour? I have seen a list elsewhere of exercises the Marham units are planned to be involved in for 2020 & Frisian Flag wasn’t included. I’m not in the know, it’s just what I’ve seen published.
