News: helicopters as aircargo at AMS

Hiya,

For the ones interested in choppers, a black Bell 429 is sitting on a loading device in front of 'Vrachtgebouw 3' / KLM Cargo (0900lt). She's parked landside and can be seen from 'Handelskade'

No registration is visible however, I checked the plate and Man. Serial no. is given as 57315.

Unlike the Bell429 a couple of weeks ago last weeks Bell had its c/n 57324 painted on the fuselage. Posible destination is Prague where Bell Helicopters have a final assembly line.

Bij een rondje zojuist viel mijn blik op een Ecureuil-romp (staart kon ik zo snel niet ontdekken). Vanaf de zijkant was te lezen: F-GSKA en 'Like a B' (foto's op het net doen vermoeden dat er ergens een tailboom rondslingert waarop 'IRD' staat).

Doe er uw voordeel mee...

PS Algemene heli's-tussen-de-vracht-topic kon ik zo snel niet vinden...

Dank u voor deze info ! Hij stond er op zaterdagmorgen nog, maar ik kon niet stoppen.

Deze Aerospatiale AS350B3 van Jet Systems Helicopter Services kwam vanuit Frankrijk en is op 16 October naar Toronto verscheept.
Op de romp stond inderdaad met grote letters: LIKE A BIRD.
Een complete AS350 pas precies op één 20 foot pallet.
De staart ligt altijd naast de romp op dezelfde pallet, evenals de mainrotor hub assembly.
