Hey Frank,
frank kramer wrote:According to the movements section on the website of the KB spotters (kbspotting.be) no less than four Florennes F-16's were logged as you presumed... albeit on friday the 12th! They were FA-89 (which operated out of Kleine Brogel and departed on the 14th) and FA-101, FA-126 and FA-127 which operated from somewhere else (Florennes, normally speaking). So, there's no telling (yet) as to which other Florennes F-16 (other than FA-101) were present on the saturday... but we keep working on that!
thank you very much for the effort - and the part, that you keep working on it :D .

Greetings Cujo

A long shot (after 10 years!), anyone have an ID for Frecce Tricolori no 10!?

Ten aircraft here, 0 to 3 and 6 to 10 (tenth aircraft is hiding behind 8 and 9):

Tenth aircraft is 4, as seen here a few minutes later:

However on Saturday 5 flew. So were there eleven aircraft or did 10 become 5?!

Without knowing for sure if there were 10 or 11 birds that year, I do know that the tail numbers are actually stickers that can be (and are) regularly replaced when the need arises. And I also know that they DO like to fly with neatly stacked numbers during the “main event”. So, a number change is definitely possible..

Edit: the show report on this website has MM54473/5, but no number 10 (but two “0”’s). 11 birds in all in that overview 😏

Always going forward... still can't find reverse!

Thanks Frank. I found that report but didn't spot the two 0s! (the joys of getting old!) Guess it was one of them!
