Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

First of all, nice shots you guys :respect:, really jealous at the Yak-42 :P

Finally got a cam for my own, a D80. Was figuring out Auto-Focus the entire day, because it can't seem to focus 9 out of 10 times when at 500mm.
Still got this shot of "Lady Penelope" on the way to the 06 out of it.

Cheers,
Gideon

@ Tom: Thanks mate! :toppie:

@ Rutger: I was there indeed, this morning. If you mean regular glasses, then it wasn't me, if you mean sunglasses, good chance it was me. If you saw a Nikon D200 around my neck, or in my hands, then you got me nailed! :D

@ Adriaan: the 'winning' Yak landing shot, for me!
@ Menno: #4 & #9 :bthumb:

Obviously, many other great photos in this topic too. But, also a number with lack of sharpness, contrast or cropping. My advise in those cases would be too look and read around, improve your skills and then upload. There is nothing I see here that hasn't been extensively discussed before. Use it to your own advantage! 8)
